Synopsis

Camogie: the fastest game on grass, is an in-depth look at a traditional Gaelic game in a rural village 36 kilometers outside of Dublin. An amateur only sport; it combines soccer, hockey, lacrosse, baseball, and a touch of rugby. Players must play with the parish they were born into or raised in; no trades are allowed. In the film, we are submerged in the village of Kiltale, Ireland, as we journey with the Kiltale Camogie team towards their path to the county final. Through our main three characters, Cheyanne, Shirley and Rachel, we see how despite age, occupation, motherhood, and life duties, these women are determined to keep their community and traditional sport alive for the next generation.
